What battery size fits the Toyota Hilux Battery Replacement (3.0 D-4D / 2.8 GD-6)?
We typically install the Willard 652 (70Ah, 590CCA) because it matches the OEM spec and handles accessories like fridges and winches.

Learn moreCan I use a smaller 646 battery?
We don’t recommend it for diesel Hilux models. The 646 is ideal for petrol engines, but the D-4D requires higher reserve capacity and CCA, otherwise cold starts suffer.
Do GD-6 models need Start/Stop batteries?
Only the models with Start/Stop or regenerative braking need an EFB like the Exide 668P. We confirm your VIN before fitment.
